Looking Back: More Maternity Pictures (a little late!)

It's hard to believe we've had a baby for seven months now. It doesn't feel like that long ago that we were expecting her--wondering what she would look like, how it would feel to hold her...God gave us more than we could have ever asked for in Maya. We never imagined a baby so adorable and sweet. Words cannot express the intense love we feel for her.

She's wearing an outfit my mom bought when my cousin was a baby for the kids in our family to pass around. Aiden wore it (and filled out the cheeks a little better), and now it's Maya's turn. There is something very satisfying about dressing your baby up in a cute animal costume. :)

Maya Jane is a precious gift from God. We thank Him for her every day.

Maya has grown so much in the past month or so. She is sitting up really well, working on her second tooth, and showing signs of starting "the scoot" (not ready to crawl yet, but you can tell she's thinking about it!). It's a little sad for Joe and I that time passes so quickly, but each stage is more and more fun. Luckily Maya's still a little peanut--only 14 pounds! (yes, we do feed her)
