Aiden is a great "big cousin" and takes care of Maya by bringing her a passy or blanket and offering to share his dessert with her despite frequent reminders that she only drinks milk. :) Today he voluntarily sang her "Jesus Loves Me" when she was getting fussy.
Maya successfully gets herself out of every swaddling blanket we own (and then cries to be reswaddled), so we took our pediatrician's advice and cut an old sheet in half so there is plenty of fabric to wrap around her. Like magic, she still somehow manages to kick her way out, so Joe calls her "Baby Houdini". I think the rust-colored sheet makes her look like a little sweet potato.
Gas or Glee?
They say babies don't smile this early, but sometimes Maya looks us right in the eyes when we're talking to her and makes some pretty convincing expressions!
In case you can't read the writing on my onesie, it says,
"This is my little black dress." Every girl needs one.

CUTEST PICTURES EVER! I bet she misses my jokes :) much love to everyone!
I still think, besides my niece, she's the cutest baby I've ever seen!
Wow! Little Maya is so precious. I love her "little black dress" onesie. And funny about Aidan offering her some of his desert. We have had to train Iris not to give Jonas anything either. We ask her, "Iris, can Jonas have a cookie?" And she says, "Nooo. Only mommy's milk." And now I ask, "What else can Jonas have now?" She says, "Rice cereal." lol... Gotta love little kids!
O my gosh...the one of her and Aiden are adorable. I'm so upset I haven't seen her yet :(
